Banyan Villas are located 30 seconds walk to the palm-fringed white sands of Bang Por Beach, facing the neighbouring island of Koh Phangan. The beach itself stretches some 4km between Ban Tai in the east and Bang Por in the west, with beach restaurants an easy stroll along the shore.
The calm shallow waters in this part of the Gulf of Thailand offer excellent snorkelling opportunities with shallow coral reefs and many colourful fish within easy reach of the shore.
Quiet and lacking the mass-tourism development found in other areas of the island, there is no noisy nightlife in the immediate vicinity to disturb the tranquillity, and only small neighbourhood shopping outlets.
On an island of this size, however, nothing is ever very far away. Just a 5 minute stroll down the beach you will find yourself at Jun Hom beach restaurant offering excellent Thai cuisine. Nightlife in the old fisherman's village of Bophut is a mere 10 minute drive and the main tourist centre of Chaeweng just 25 minutes away.

Villa 3 provides spacious accommodation for up to 8 guests set in tropical gardens it allows guests to relax in front of the swimming pool and enjoy views across to the neighbouring island of Koh Phangan.
The Villa, was built as a traditional Thai teak wood villa and was completed in 2007. The villa is tastefully furnished in keeping with the traditional Thai style featuring carved wooden columns internally. Outside there are balconies in front of the living area and on the upper floor to the master bedroom.
Further detail – interior
Villa 3 is flanked by two garden paths leading to the beach and central parking area, access to the villa is via either of these paths. The downstairs living area is open plan and leads on to the balcony through four sets of double doors. All rooms and the downstairs balcony are equipped with ceiling fans and all bedrooms are air-conditioned.
Accommodation in detail
The main entry to the villa is up three steps that lead onto a veranda that surrounds the villa. Through the front door you enter into the open plan living area. The kitchen is to the rear of the living area and is separated by a bar counter, it is well equipped with modern cooking appliances including hotplates, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, rice cooker, toaster and cooking utensils. A full complement of crockery, glassware and cutlery is also provided.
The dining area features a traditional teak dining table that accommodates 8 in comfort and has views over the pool and garden. If al-fresco dining is preferred patio dining can be enjoyed on the balcony with a further dining table that will also seat 8. On the balcony you will also find sun beds and a further occasional table and chairs.
The living area has two large sofas, a coffee table and sports a large flat screen TV, with internet TV offering hundreds of channels and movies in 5 languages and a home theatre system.
To the rear, downstairs, there is a large bedroom equipped with a Queen size bed and adjoining bathroom.
Stairs lead from the entrance to the upstairs bedrooms. The master bedroom is located at the front of the villa. It has a king sized bed, its’ own sitting area and double doors out to the upstairs balcony with stunning sea views. The balcony is equipped with sun beds and occasional table and chairs. The master bedroom has its’ own dressing room with ample wardrobe space which leads through to the en-suite bathroom.
The Queen sized bedrooms 3 and 4 are located at the rear of the villa and have their own small balcony, these two bedrooms share a further upstairs bathroom.

- Deposit (non-refundable)
An initial deposit of 30% must be paid to confirm a booking. Payment should be made by direct bank transfer, account details will be provided when making your reservation.
No contract will exist between you and Banyan Villas until Banyan Villas has received and accepted the deposit payment. Your reservation will be confirmed upon payment of a deposit.
If payment has not been received within 10 banking days, Banyan Villas will assume that you have cancelled the reservation.
- Balance (non-refundable)
Payment of the outstanding balance is due 8 weeks before the arrival date and Banyan Villas will send out a reminder close to the due date. If the booking is made within 8 weeks of the arrival date, 100% of the cost of the property rental shall be due at the time of booking. Again payment should be made by direct bank transfer.
In the event that you have to cancel your booking at any time it should be noted that no refund can be made of either deposits or final payments under any circumstances.
It is a condition of the booking that the entire party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance, which you will need to provide separately to your booking, such insurance should provide compensation to you in the event of cancellation.
Banyan Villas Cancellation
Although it is unlikely that Banyan Villas will have to make any changes to confirmed arrangements, it is sometimes unavoidable in which case we will advise you at the earliest possible date.
If, for any reason beyond our control, we are unable to provide you with the property booked, Banyan Villas shall reserve the right to cancel the reservation. If the properties are damaged or rendered unusable Banyan Villas will try to locate an alternative property for the period required. However, if this is not possible, or you do not wish to be transferred, Banyan Villas will cancel the booking and refund you in full, less any bank transfer charges. Banyan Villas shall not be liable for any further obligations or claims by the client.
