Entering through the ornate gateway into the Panacea development, the first thing you notice is the feeling of luxury and sophistication. Natural stone walls add privacy to the upmarket homes and tropical landscaping enhances the surroundings, creating a reassuring sense of total quality. The first villa you reach is Avasara, which means 'opportunity and chance', the perfect name for such an attractive and elegant home. Avasara combines striking architectural features, exceptional furnishings and natural materials with inspiring sea views from every room. Entering the house through the electronic gate into the driveway, the house opens into a well-planted, landscaped tropical garden with steps running down the side of the main living pavillion to a delicious ocean view pool. The entire villa exudes absolute comfort and indulgence. You can easily imagine spending hours simply relaxing and enjoying the comfort and tropical surroundings.
From the driveway you enter the impressive living pavillion with a terrace opening from the side of the main pavillion. The path from the main gate is fringed with a water feature and stone walls that create an appealing natural ambience. Large wooden doors open into an astonishing elevated living space that runs virtually the whole length of the property, with high, wood-lined, and vaulted ceilings, and windows on both sides that increase the overall feeling of space and grandeur. The whole front and side of the living area features sliding glass doors that open up to draw in panoramic views across the forested valleys, right down to the bay of Bophut and Samui's many offshore islands.
Inside this vast space, an eye-catching pedestal dining table sits like a piece of art in the centre of the room. To the right is a sophisticated kitchen area with an island breakfast bar. All the high-end branded appliances are fitted in an outstanding kitchen that not only looks fantastic with light wood units, chrome fittings and marble surfaces, but is also well planned and designed to include everything guests need. There's even a built-in wine cooler for all day refreshments. On the opposite side of the dining table is the lounge area which has a flat screen TV mounted on a pine cabinet and surrounded by comfortable brown and white sofas and chairs, as well as contemporary ornaments and artworks. Running the whole length of the room is a balcony with an almost invisible glass barrier looking out over the garden and pool. All-weather chairs are poised for guests to take in the spectacular surroundings.
Stairs on both sides of the balcony lead down to the lower level of the villa where three appealing guest bedrooms face out across the garden, pool and views. A covered walkway connects the rooms and doubles as a shaded outdoor terrace. Each of the three bedrooms has ample built-in storage space and an en-suite rain shower room. All the rooms have king size double beds, making this an ideal family or group villa. High-quality furnishings and accessories, plush and stylish interiors make the bedrooms far more than simple sleeping spaces. In front of this bedroom level a lawned garden leads to the pool terrace. To one side of the huge pool, sunken stools are served by a built in bar, incorporated into a covered sala or gazebo, which also houses a dining table and cushioned bench seats. This is ideal for lazy days snacking and relaxing or even for an al fresco feast or pool party.
To the right of the pool is the first of two master suites. Staying here will be an experience to remember. A vaulted wooden ceiling with glass at the front and back creates an airy and light atmosphere. Doors open directly onto the pool terrace and take in the spectacular views. There’s a separate dressing area and an en-suite that has twin sinks, a rain shower and an indulgent terrazzo bathtub with windows looking directly out across the pool and to the ocean. Again the furniture and the artwork in here are modern in design. Steps at the rear of the lower master suite lead back up to the lounge area and from the steps, a door leads into the second upper floor master bedroom that mirrors the one below. Dramatic views and luxurious interiors create an atmosphere of cosseted privilege for those lucky enough to stay in one of these fine suites.

An initial deposit of three (3) nights must be paid to confirm a booking, unless otherwise specified in the confirmation of availability. During the season of Christmas and New Year, fifty percent (50%) of the villa rental due is to be paid to confirm a booking. Before the booking is confirmed and a contract comes into existence, Management reserves the right to increase or decrease the agreed prices. No contract will exist between with Management until receipt of funds. If funds are not received within 5 banking days the reservation shall be deemed to have been cancelled and Management reserves the right to allocate the Residence to another client. Should the booking be cancelled, cancellation charges will become payable.
Transfer of the outstanding balance must be paid at least 30 days before the day of arrival, unless otherwise specified in the confirmation of availability. Should the booking be made within 30days of arrival the full payment is due upon confirmation and prior to arrival.
Payment can be made by either international bank transfer, nett of bank fees, or using our online payment gateway. If Management does not receive the balance by the due date, Management reserves the right to cancel the booking and cancellation charges will apply. If the booking is confirmed within 30 days of the arrival date, the whole amount of the Residence rental is to be paid at the time of booking. This is applicable for all seasons.
A security deposit equivalent to three nights stay is payable to Management with the payment of the balance. This is to cover the cost of any damage or breakages during the rental period of the Villas or their contents. It may also be used to cover the cost of the use of telephones and other services. This amount will be returned to you at the time of departure, less any such costs.
If it becomes necessary to cancel all or any part of the booking, Management must be notified in writing (email acceptable). The cancellation will take effect from the day the written confirmation is received.
The following cancellation charges will be applicable depending on when the notification of the cancellation is received in writing and the period of stay in the Villa:
Standard and Peak Seasons: 30 days or more before arrival date: All Payments are forfeited but credited for 9 month from the date of the cancellation confirmation by Management reservation department. The credit value can be used by the client or anyone on their behalf for any reservation, during any period upon availability.
Within 30 days of arrival date: All rental payments are forfeited. A full or partial refund is solely applicable in the event that Management secures another reservation covering partially or fully the initial cancelled reservation.
Christmas and New year Period: For any cancellation after the deposit and/or balance payment, all payments are forfeited and a full or partial refund is solely applicable in the event that Management secures another reservation covering partially or fully the initial and cancelled reservation.
The above cancellation charges also apply if Management cancels the booking due to non-payment of the balance. If the dates of the booking require to be changed or amended, this may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and cancellation charges may apply. Any change to the original reservation is subject to the approval of Management. Early departure penalty will be subject to negotiation.
