Dear Stuart and Ray,
After looking at a number of villas for a stay over Christmas 2011, we finally settled on Villa Sambonani as it was in a great location close to Bophut and had all the amenities we wanted for our family of four.
We have had many private villa holidays over the last 5 years but can say that the communication from Ray and Stuart has been the best we have experienced so far. Everything was thought through in a timely and friendly manner from airport pick-up to car hire. The icing on the cake was a list of all the dining and entertainment options available in the local hotels over the festive period which was sent to us via email. This led to us booking a gala dinner on Christmas Eve prior to our arrival in Thailand and it is this level of service which elevated our experience above others.
The villa itslef was lovely. There was plenty of room for our family of four with a great pool that we not only swam in but raced the remote control boats we bought as Christmas presents! The compund of villas is beautifully landscaped and benefits from both the onsite office and a fully equipped gym. We enjoyed being surrounded by greenery although the peaceful location does mean that a car is a must. Having free wifi and also a TV showing Premier League football was appreciated by our two boys but it was the outside space where we could relax in either sun or shade that was appreciated by us adults.
I cannot recommend a stay at Samran Gardens enough. Its USP is having the friendly and helpful (English) villa managers on site should you need them - here I will stress that we only needed them for restaurant and beach recommendations rather than with any maintenance issues. The villa was also excellent value for money as we did stay at absolute peak season and we are secure in the knowledge that we couldn't have found the same standard of accomodation and service for anywhere near the price we paid.

Thank you for such a wonderful, chilled-out and relaxed 3 weeks at Samran Gardens in the Sanbonani villa in May, 2010. Service, advice and attention to detail was excellent and very much appreciated. The grounds were kept immaculate and the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to it again in the near future. Feb-22 nd - 28 th, 2010 - Ivan Martin We stayed at Sanbonani Villa for a week this month. Not only did the villa take our breath away when we first entered it but were extremely impressed with the way Stuart went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. "Sanbonani" Jan 4 th - Feb 4 th, 2010 Well just a note to follow up our holiday, our 4 th stay now in Samran Gardens, we had such a good time, loved the house and surroundings too. So sorry we just did not have time to drop in on our departure, but you know how it is, last minute stuff to do etc etc. It was so good to see more tourists in the area than on our previous trip, so let's hope it continues for you all, and the recession is less biting than it was. It was so hard coming back to the cold and wearing all the thick clothing again, how I loathe it, but at least the snow is away thank goodness. Anyway, thank you for everything. Jane and Peter - March 11th, 2009 Thank you so much - we had a super holiday in the 'Sanbonani' villa in early February. The villa was great, the pool and garden lovely. Never seen such marvelous beach towels! Maybe the villa could do with a couple of sunloungers. It would be great to have a few more flowering shrubs/bushes around the pool and garden to encourage even more butterflies. We will certainly consider visiting again next year. Thank you. We stayed at the Sanbonani Villa for two weeks in late July, early August, 2010. We are a modern family of six and we wanted a family holiday where we could spend time on the one environment rather than be split up in hotel rooms. After quite a bit of research I found Samran Gardens and having exchanged a few emails with Stuart, the on site villa manager, decided this was the place for us, we were not disappointed and had a fantastic time. The villa was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate all of us. Having the pool proved to be invaluable especially for a family, the kids spent most of their free time there and it was idyllic. Eating out was easy, there are great little restaurants in the village, uncle Noi's was great, it had a family atmosphere, the food and the prices were incredible. There is large Tesco's in Bo Phut should you feel the need for some home cooking. Overall a great place to stay and I have no hesitation in recommending it. We will be back again. We've just returned from another wonderful stay at the 'Sanbonani' Villa in Samran Gardens and were just as impressed as we were the first time - everyone is so friendly and helpful, and everywhere kept clean and well maintained.
We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Just wanted to thank you for your hospitality, we had a lovely time staying in the Sanbonani villa, really enjoyed our selves.
The whole place is nicely planed, not over crowded, we really liked the privacy (own garden and swimming pool) and the quietness. After a chaotic day with all our activities and work it feels like a home coming back to the house.
You really thought about every little detail and it really works very well. So it is a definite yes on coming back to one of your villas.
Hopefully see you in March, we will contact you as soon as we have got the flight details.
