We all loved the Baan Sii. It really exceeded all of our expectations. The first sight of it really was breathtaking. Situated on the hill amongst the jungle was absolutely stunning and the breezes there were beautiful. The design of the property was amazing and really gave our whole family room to move and have seperate spaces. The details were incredible eg/ the firemans ladder and the underwater cave. In terms of value I don't think you could get better. The location was stunning. Kamala beach was an amazing, relaxing, clean and safe beach with so many shops and restuarants to choose from. The only problem was navigating the hill on the way back so a taxi or a tuk tuk was a must. I would totally recommend Kamala Beach over any of the other beaches in Phuket!
The staff were incredible. They were accommodating (they changed a couple of the bedroom configerations to suit us), they cleaned it everyday and the pool was also always cleaned. We had telephone access to the property manager any time of the day or night and nothing was too much bother. It was also great knowing that there was security there 24 hours. So for staff definately 10 out of 10. As mentioned above the property was amazing. We really felt like rockstars in the hollywood hills. The pools were great and the bedrooms and all amenities to the highest of standards. The dining around Kamala beach was top quality. So many restaurants to choose from and great food at great prices. It was also close enough to catch a taxi or tuk tuk to busier beaches and night life if you wanted to.
Booking the Baan Sii was really easy and we were really lucky to have dealt with Marc who kept us informed and answered all of our questions. I really believe that in real life it is even better than the pictures (and that is saying something). It would have been great to have some sort of floor plan on the website so we could have worked out the bedroom arrangements before hand- but as I mentioned the staff were great at helping us work it all out. So all in all I would highly recommend it and hope one day soon to return!

it was a girls week off and we had a great time. we went swimming and enjoyed the view. it was beautiful. coming back to the villa was always the best part of the night. we had a full house and it was still enough space and more to move around. the staff was amazing. they we so helpfull with any questions we had. thanks so much. we promised eachother to come back in 10 years.mrs. susan burke (July 28th, 2010) - rating 82%
I have recently returned from 2 weeks at the baan sii villa. What a beautiful place to stay, so peaceful but close enough to the hustle & bustle of Patong. We had a group of 10 people using all 5 bedrooms. We loved everything about this villa inluding the villa staff who came & prepared our breakfast every morning & then came back after lunch to clean the villa. The villa is on top of a very steep hill which i only walked up once - if you are young & fit you will have no trouble but i would rather pay 200bht for a tuk tuk which took 6 people, about $1 each. It was only about a 10 minute drive into Patong or a 15 minute walk down the hill to the beach at Kamala. There are some great reataurants in Kamala and a few shops, a very nice local village. I am writing this review because when i was booking the villa i could not find any comments on it at all & was getting a little worried that no one had stayed here. I would highly recommend this villa to a group wanting a relaxing holiday but still being fairly close to everything. The only thing was that there are only 3 bathrooms (main with ensuite, queen with ensuite & the other 3 bedrooms share a bathroom). This was not a problem for us as we were all family. There is also an extra toilet, washbasin room upstairs. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and would definately return to the Baan Sii again.
