The villa is set up for guests wishing to be independent and free to plan meals and catering as they wish.
The management service team provide housekeeping and linen and towel changes every 4 th day of the guests stay.
The accommodation comprises of a large (45ft long) living room/dining room, elegantly but comfortably furnished, large 6 seater dining table, large flat screen television, with DVD/CD player, and open plan fully fitted kitchen with central breakfast bar/work island, and granite worktops, walk in utility room with Siemens front loading washing machine, Siemens dishwasher and ironing board and iron. Standard kitchen equipment of microwave oven, convection oven, fridge/freezer with cold drink dispenser, 4 ring gas hob, coffee filter machine, food blender, rice cooker, toaster and kettle are provided. Where possible all furniture and decoration of the villa is made of locally produced material, and has been made withinin Thailand. The fixtures and furnishings are to a very high standard having been installed by the owner for his own evenutal occupation. It is not surprising that many bookings are repeat stays from guests who have previously enjoyed this villa.
Most guests do not require air conditioning to the lounge/diner, but this can be provided at an additional cost of 500 baht per day if required.
Located to the side of the villa is a further outdoor Thai kitchen with granite work tops, cold water sink and gas hob, which is ideal for preparing meals for al fresco dining in the private open air dining sala. A gas fired barbecue is also available.
The feature master bedroom suite has a ceiling mounted fan, as well as air conditioning, walk in wardrobe/dressing room with bolted in security safe and an ultra spacious private en suite bathroom with double corner bath, toilet and "His and Hers" basins, stone wall carving in the Angkor Wat style, and private outdoor walk-in Balinese shower.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 have air conditioning and ceiling fans, fitted open fronted wardrobes and are linked by their shared bathroom with walk-in shower, bath, wash basin and toilet. These rooms have a private entry hall off the main lounge to maintain privacy.
The large plot in which the villa is set has been extensively landscaped with a selection of local flowers, shrubs and trees, providing an ideal habitat for birds and butterflies, as well as a selection of local fruit bearing trees, and includes a feature Thai style dining sala set over the villa's ornamental lotus and fish pond. This looks over the infinity edge swimming pool to the house both of which can be lit at night, with the lush green hillsides of Samui behind. The sala is furnished with a dining table and four chairs in the local Thai style, has lighting, ceiling fan and electric sockets, is open on all sides to the natural breezes, and makes the perfect setting for a romantic candle lit dinner. It also makes a quiet getaway during the day, as it nestles within the its own foliage, and is a perfect place for watching local bird and butterfly life, but is close enough to the house to be able to use the wireless internet. The owner says that it is his favourite part of the house.
The overflow swimming pool is approx 70 sq.m in size and 12 metres long, and has tiled steps leading into the water. The depth of the pool is a constant 1.4 metres, allowing it to be used both for exercise and relaxation.
An outdoor pool shower is situated to one side of the terrace.An additonal breakfast/dining set with four chairs is provided on the extensive pool terrace, together with a set of sun loungers. This makes the perfect place for a relaxed alfresco breakfast. Further easy carry chairs and sun loungers are available for the beach, if required. With the fruit trees in the garden, you may be lucky, and able to pick your own fruit for breakfast in the right season. Weather & Climate Thailand is fast becoming a country to be visited all year round. Koh Samui benefits from a good weather season of about 10 months of the year. The 'dry' season is generally from January till May and July through to September. Temperatures regularly reach 30 to 35 degrees till May and then 35 to 40 degrees till September with odd showers from July to September. The 'wet' season is generally from mid October to mid December when temperatures are around the 25 to 30 degree mark. November is often regarded as the 'monsoon" season, though the heavy rains that come at this time are generally only for a few hours at a time, with many days in between blessed with sunny spells. Tropical rain showers may occur late December and early January. Once the final balance is received 8 weeks prior to arrival, the same cancellation conditions as above apply. If the period of stay has to be shortened the full rental rates will still apply due to the popular nature of these villas. Please note that as this villa is privately owned and not part of pool system it is not possible to change villas on arrival. Payment Terms Upon confirming the reservation a deposit of 30 % of the total figure incl. the service charge is required to secure the booking. The balance of the booking is required 8 weeks prior to arrival. The Villa Payment Options are as follows: 1. Transfer to our U.K account - Lloyds TSB (subject to a 13.50 GBP fee). 2. Bank transfer to our Thai bank account in Koh Samui. 3. We accept PayPal payments, (a 4 % fee is applied to cover the Paypal charges). 4. You can also pay by Western Union.
